Well i have to say RNR Charters always leaves me with some form of memories to say the least but not unfortunately not for the right things this time. No-ones fault just my body let me down.

Thanks for a fantastic fishing day April 8th . I had forgotten how great the fishing is in NZ.

I am a Kiwi living in Sale Vic, 250 klms east of Melbourne. I work on the oil rigs in the Bass Strait, and fish quite often, but I have never caught or seen a snapper of that quality. I will try and get across the ditch in the near future to give Robbie Cullen the shits and show him how its done.

Thanks for making it happen over the last two days. Very generous of you to put us up weds night and to keep charter cost to same as overnighter.

We finished our surgery at 6-30pm and had a ton of meat each!

Highlight for each for us – catching our first Puka.

I am keen to do an overnighter next year early March or late April, preferably Wed/Thurs again if you can suggest some dates.

Can we arrange 5 knots winds again!

Just wanted to thank you again for last weekend.

Nathan and I spent Monday driving around the (Great Barrier) island showing off our fish.

Now I think the whole Island wants a weekend on RnR Charters.

Sorry we didn’t offer you any fresh fish, it skipped all our minds.

Regards the details for the snapper in the attached photo caught at the Mokohinaus on RNR. We had an awesome day out. Thanks heaps for the effort you put in for us (and for your patience!).  Whilst (it was a tough day) we have caught bigger snaps, that days fishing rates as close to the best for us and we look forward to joining up with you again one day soon. I’m thinking of bring a few staff from my Hamilton site up for a day at the Mokes mid week, how are your bookings looking?

Best thanks for a magnificent day out. Carol and I got home to see the pix last night and they’re great shots.

We appreciated the way you worked hard to give us a very memorable day out, and recovered from some testing amateur gear handling

(ie from me) in the best of humour.

Our group were rank amateurs, and one of the many great things about the day was the way you made it the best possible experience for us, as we imagine you do for groups of all levels of experience and skill. You very patiently untangled my birdnests plus the line snagged around the propeller, and ensured that Carol and I caught magnificent snapper which were the thrills of our fishing lives. 

We also just plain had a fantastic day out being shown around the Hen and Chickens and Sail Rock which we and our friends will always look back on with great pleasure. And all this for non-paying customers who as jammy golfers had the good fortune to win the trip by fluking a Mangawhai Golf Club team’s tournament win!

We bbq-ed one of the fish next day, having gilled and gutted when we got home, and filleted the other one. The eating was beautiful and gave us a fun night around the bbq with guests next day.

All commented that your nature and service was the best we have come across (and we have taken a few charters  over the years) which is a credit to you.

Of note was that you were there when needed and helped the less experienced but would let the others do their thing.

We had a fabulous day - thanks again. I'm having difficulty getting people to believe that is me and I did catch those fish!!!  (As for the 'one that got away' breaking the rod...Warwick is standing by his belief that it was my technique!!!)

With regard to the charter we did, we all had a very really enjoyable time.

We have been on a few charters and RnR has been the only one the team has repeated. 

The two trips have been our most successful fishing charters and that all goes well for a possible trip next year. Hope the new motor has gone in successfully and is working to expectations.
