RnR operates from Mangawhai Heads, which is a tranquil
beach resort situated on Northlands East Coast.
Drive the Twin Coast Discovery Route north and take the
East Coast route to Mangawhai Heads.
Just 90 min north of Auckland you will find 'Award Winning'
accommodation, golf course (open all weather), fabulous local craft and
shopping….and much more.
By sea from Auckland, Mangawhai is the first safe anchorage
on Northlands East Coast and as such, is very well positioned, for easy
access to world class fishing, game fishing, diving and sight seeing.
Popular fishing and cruising locations aboard RnR are:
The Mokohinau Islands and
surrounding reefs, Great Barrier Island, Local Coastal and Hen and Chickens Islands, Little Barrier Island.
Our area of operation is East Cape to the top of New Zealand.
RnR is also available for conferences, team building,
fishing competitions, event viewing, sightseeing, bird watching, cruising or
diving.
We can customise a charter to suit your requirements.
Exclusivity and Privacy:
Charters booked aboard RnR are exclusive to the group making the booking.
From time to time, RnR hosts high profile clients seeking the
anonymity and privacy we are able to provide and also respect.

Payment:
A deposit of $250.00 is required to
secure the booking. Payment of the deposit can be made via direct credit to
our bank account. We will provide you our bank account details.
The balance is payable in cash on arrival
on the day of departure, but may be made by direct deposit at least two
working days prior to departure or by cheque, five working days prior to
departure. We do not have credit card facility.
RnR:
RnR is a 10.5m. Genesis Launch, with a cruising speed of 18 to 20 knots, which allows you to maximise your fishing, diving and/or sightseeing time.
RnR is comfortably appointed and is ideally suited for four to six anglers on day trips and sleeps four in the forward bunks, for overnight or extended trips.
Galley facilities are available for your use, for heating, cooking or chilling food.
We suggest you bring rolls, pies and easily handled food, complimentary tea and coffee
is available as you wish.
On overnight trips, the evening meal is complimentary and is usually, catch of the day.
Please advise us if you have any dietary restrictions.
All bedding is provided, including pillows.
Toilet and shower facilities aboard, plus fresh water deck shower for divers and swimmers.
Fishing rods are available for hire
Bait, if you are unsure what bait to bring, give Wayne a call and he is happy to let you know what is working out there.
RnR is surveyed and licensed with Maritime New Zealand.
Clothing and footwear:
Clothing to suit the weather conditions, just ask
if you are unsure. Non-marking
soft soled shoes are recommended for your comfort and safety.
No black
gumboots please. If you prefer to wear gumboots, we recommend Skellerup Dairy Boots in the winter.
Aboard RnR there is a
no shoes policy when going below into the cabin.
Smoking:
Please observe the no smoking zones aboard RnR.
Children and the elderly or frail: Due to the nature of the locations
of our operation being remote, conditions are often not suitable for
some. Therefore we have a policy of no children aboard under college age and we
reserve the right to refuse persons who we think may not be able bodied for
the trip. However,
we will consider all circumstances.
Divers: Divers must produce their current
Padi (or equal) divers certificate of competency on the day and sign a
disclaimer form.
