We can not stress enough how important it is
to choose fresh frozen bait. Look for large pillies without any sign of
yellow mucous around the gills and stomach area. It must look like it has
just come out of the sea. As for squid, choose packets with large pale
cream squid, if it is pink it is probably freezer burnt.
For this year’s Furuno fishing competition
(March 18th-20th), we had the pleasure of hosting Billy Hohepa and Linda
along with their lively film crew.
For a few days RnR became the film set for a
TV
programme about a young woman discovering the world of fishing under Billy’s
colourful guidance. It was interesting to catch a glimpse “behind the
scenes” and learn a little of what’s involved in the filming of programmes
such as these.
Thanks to Billy and co. for a very enjoyable 3 days!
As a result of the increasing demand from
partners booking charters as ‘presents’ for their loved ones we have
introduced the
RnR Gift voucher. The perfect gift
available in various denominations can be given to the nominated recipient, for
them to book their chosen day. Or better still, if you’d prefer one for
yourself, no harm in dropping a few subtle hints – print off the info page
on this website and leave it lying conspicuously around the house.
